Huntsville Engine "Great American Bracket Race" Presented by BracketNews.com Invades State Capitol Raceway February 2009.
A THREE Day Event Featuring a $50,000 Race Between two $20,000 Races.

Baton Rouge, LA. Get ready for the biggest bracket race west of the Great Mississippi River when the Huntsville Engine "Great American Bracket Race" Presented by BracketNews.com will get ready to award over $160,000 in cold hard cash in February of 2009 at State Capitol Raceway in Baton Rouge, LA. "The Main Event" will feature a $50,000 to WIN race with two $20,000 to WIN races surrounding "The Main Event".

"I am very excited to bring this great event to State Capitol Raceway." stated Gaylon Rolison, Promoter of the Huntsville Engine "King of the Coast" Bracket Series and BracketNews.com. "Gary Carter, Track Operator of State Capitol Raceway, and I have been working on the "Great American Bracket Race" for quiet some time now hoping the make the "GABR" the best weekend of bracket racing ever. State Capitol Raceway is in the process of finishing up a total track resurfacing which will feature a full concrete the first 1/8 Mile of the 1/4 track being concrete so State Capitol Raceway is the clear cut choice facility to hold the event", Rolison added.

The "Great American Bracket Race" weekend will be contested on the 1/8 Mile, and racers will be able to Pre-Enter the Event at cheaper entry fee than at the gate and participate in a weekend points fund to be awarded. Weekend Pre-Entry for the "GABR" will be $899. Weekend Entry at the gate will be $1,000.

The "GABR" official flyer will be available soon with more detailed information including the official dates in February 2009.
