Gulfport, it has been a few years last time I was there. Any changes to the pit area such as elect, water, etc. Thanks

There are electricity hook-ups and plenty of water is available too.

gaylon, any info on the great american bracket race? do you have a firm date yet?

Any chance of changing the March and June date so it doesn’t fall on the same weekend as the super 7 races in Montgomery? Although I know I can’t make all the races from both series, I think several KOC racers run both. Not to mention I think we are trying to attract some racers from that way with the proposed higher purse.

Alan I would love to try to work with every promter and/or track owner out there we would have to meet in the middle.

Alan and anyone else that wants to know, I have corresponded with Jim Howard and he has moved the March super 7 race back a week so it does not interfere with the KOC race, it will be the weekend before the KOC race instead of on the same weekend. said he could not move the June race though. hope this helps.

Mike you sure he did it not to interfere with KOC? IHRA announced it will kick off it's NATIONAL EVENT ( Not sportsman) Season at State Capitol Raceway in Baton Rouge, LA March 6-8, 2009. Gaylon I really think it would be in the best intrest of the series to consider moving this date.

Mike, all I know is I asked him and he replied back and said that he would move it to the week before. all I know is I was happy and will be able to make it to both race series I have scheduled to run in 2009. now when the June one comes up, I guess that will be up to my car owner I will be driving for again in 2009 to decide where we go.

Well thats cool Mike. Well be at all the KOC races also. Just thinkin That IHRA thing is gonna draw a crowd it's been along time since Top Fuel has been this close.
