Cool I have an idea for Chris and the rest of you guys and gals. A Super Pro race ........ with no electronics!! A Super Pro purse structure with footbrake rules! Anybody can enter, but you must footbrake. Let's say a $10,000 purse and buyback structure. Noone has done "that" yet! How many people would try it? Show me the "real" drivers! Chris, racers, think about it.

Toby
You talking about a ll run footbrake race? Diggers and all Just pull the delay box out and race?
The only problem would be allot of cars will have to keep there button on the wheel. "Pro brake needs it to back up" and some cars shift threw the delay box. "like mine"
After this weekend I am thinking about pulling the box out of the Datsun and and putting in a rpm switch to shift so I can try to run with you bad azz feetbrakers next week Big Grin

Cool Exactly John. If someone wanted to do it, it wouldn,t be that difficult to prepare the car. You would have to take all buttons off the steering wheel and temporarily relocate it somewhere close by for backing up. Just not on the wheel. It would be like racing in the late 70's and early 80's before delay boxes. I think it would be cool.

I would be game.
Footbrake Racers like you Kelly, Jacob, Jarred & Ricky I think would have no problem doing this and would more than likely pull a W out of it. But I think there would be allot that would complain that Dragster still have to much advantage and you also would have some dragster drivers not wanting to have to give up a big spot to a street car.
But I think it would be fun
Cool

HEY TOBY, WHAT IS THE DIFFRENCE IN THE RACE YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT AND THE UFC. A LOT OF PRO CARS IN THAT RACE, EVEN A FEW DRAGESTERS.

It's really basically the same thing Ben. Before delay boxes, you went to the track and raced whoever and whatever was there. Dragsters, roadsters, whatever. Same deal. Take the boxes out and the cream will rise to the top in my opinion.

Sounds great to me!! Hopefully Chris will hold one of those next season. If he does, I'll make sure that I'll be there!
