Has anyone that has this had to buy a 9 pin to a USB cable to program, and if so, did they have any trouble getting the program to recognise the port or (com)?

Yo Tilly, I have them in my cars. I got the hand help key pad that I use to change the settings. Russ set up the basics on his laptop before I got the cars. I am sure he will help you with it, But it will cost a fortune for his info..........LOL
