Does anyone have the problems I have with frame flex from their motor home? I tow a 28' trailer with a dragster and golf cart, moved weight around, use bars, still flexes bad enough that the compartment doors on motor home pops open, any suggestions? Can anyone give me some input on these dollies u can buy for the tongue of trailer, do they work, where can you find them, anyone have one? Thanks for any replies!!

There is your problem! You should never tow a 28' trailer with a dragster! Much less a golf cart! (just having fun!)

FF12,

Most gasoline class A motor home frames are not built for towing heavy loads. In fact, many chevy chassis have 2 separate frames welded together in the rear of the coach. You can strengthen it by making a truss frame from the receiver hitch to the main frame of the motor home. I used 2x2 square tubing, plus 1/2"x6" plates to strengthen the side of the frame.

Remember... from a construction standpoint, a triangle is the strongest geometric shape.
Hope this info helps !!

Buy a Ford!! The Chev's have two piece frames as mentioned and are CRAP regardless of what you do to them. Crawl uder a ford motorhome and check out the frame, then go look at a freightliner,J/D and all the real frames...then go back and look at the chev. It will open your eyes! Eek
