I have a undercover 4-link with a SBC on alky, 4.56 gear,33" tire and run 1/8 mile only. I run 5.50's @ 122 with 1.20 to 1.24 60' times. The car is not very consistant in the 60' times and I have not ever changed the 4-link setup from the previos owners. He was running 4.80's. The bar looks very long in it now. Just looking for someone with similar combination and how your setup to get me in the ballpark before I start adjusting. Thanks

Call and talk to Kurt, 352-748-3604. Give him your exact combo, and he'll tell you what you need to check.

If this was a big block car, the rear springs may be too heavy for your small block. I'd start with the bottom bar in the bottom hole, and the top bar 5 holes up from the bottom hole. Ride height is important too. I "think" it should be 4 - 4.5" with the car race ready and you in it. Measure from the bottom of the framerail at the midplate to the ground.

Also, if you have double adjustable shocks, and you should, you need to check the settings on them as well. Set them in the middle of their range and start from there.

Again, I cannot stress enough, Kurt WILL talk to you about your car and how to set it up. He built it, so he's the most qualified to help.

Good luck!
