BRISTOL DRAGWAY AND ZMAX DRAGWAY TEAM UP TO OFFER FANS INCREDIBLE TICKET PACKAGE

BRISTOL, Tenn. (Tuesday, April 7, 2009)- Thunder Valley fans now have the chance to witness seven days of nitro-burning glory at two of the NHRA tour’s crown jewel facilities for only $199. That’s right…seven days at two tracks for only $199.

This special money-saving ticket package allows fans to visit legendary Thunder Valley and Bristol Dragway May 15-17 for three days at one of NHRA’s most historic dragstrips. Top Fuel ace Tony Schumacher, Funny Car legend John Force and local hero and top Pro Stock contender Allen Johnson will be among the stars battling to make it into the winner’s circle.

Fans will see exactly how the valley earned its nickname when these extreme machines thunder down the track at speeds in excess of 300 mph.

The fun continues September 17-20 when the NHRA returns to zMAX Dragway in Charlotte for the four-day Carolina Nationals. Deep in the heart of NASCAR country, plenty of drag racing fans are more than happy to make the trip to the strip to catch true horsepower.

In addition to the savings, fans purchasing four tickets will be able to take laps at both Bristol Motor Speedway and Lowe’s Motor Speedway during each NHRA event weekend. Also, the first 100 fans to purchase the package will receive a free die-cast Funny Car. Everyone who participates will be entered to win a free upgrade to Bristol Dragway’s Thunder Valley Club seating or a chance to stand on the starting line during one of the Bristol nitro sessions.

To purchase this special package, please call the Bristol ticket office at (423) 989-6900.
