Father/Son Night at Immokalee Regional Raceway-Immokalee, FL

Immokalee Regional Raceway hosted a regular bracket race along with a 6.50 Pure Street race this past weekend. Racing was on schedule and as we all know in the summer months in Southwest Florida the evening rains are usually not far behind. This Saturday night Mother Nature decided to take a day off and the temperature showed as Immokalee neared the 100 degree mark in the late afternoon.

The first final round of the night was the Jr. Dragster class where it was Bailey Ferraro taking on Bradley Snowball. Ferraro got the win as Snowball leaving too early (.449) turning on the red light. In the semi final rounds it was Snowball getting the bye run to the final while Ferraro got the win over RJ Myers.

In the Combo class final round it was Mike Ferraro (Baileys Dad trying to follow and meet his son into the Winners circle) taking on Trae Miller. Ferraro got the win running dead on (4.83) with a .508 RT while Miller running a 4.97 ET on a 4.98 dial with a .508 RT for runner up. In the semi final round it was Ferraro getting the win over Nicole Shaw while Miller got the win over Brett VanTol. This was a great night for the Ferraro family meeting in the winners circle for a first time Father/Son win at Immokalee.

In the Sportsman class final round it was John Siegel taking on Bill Kapke. Siegel got the win running a 6.90 ET on a 6.87 dial with a .507 RT while Kapke ran dead on (6.70) with a .563 RT for runner up. McHale got the win running a 8.47 ET on a 8.45 dial with a .508 RT while Banks ran a 8.60 ET on a 8.62 dial with a .601 RT for runner up. In the semi final rounds it was McHale getting the win over Gary Bowlin while Banks got the bye run to the final.

The last final round of the night was in the 6.50 Pure Street class where it was Rodney Ristall taking on John Wayne. Ristall got the win running a 6.76 ET on the 6.50 Index with a .455 RT while Wayne having traction problems and only running a 7.61 ET on the 6.50 Index with a .494 RT for runner up.
