Hester Captures 1st win at Home Track

Immokalee Regional Raceway had a first time winner this past weekend in the Combo class. Owner/Operator Ralph Hester started racing the Combo class about 6 months ago putting in his dues and finally cashing the big check. In the final round Hester was taking on Mike Ferraro. Hester got the automatic win as Ferraro leaving early (.481) turned on the red light. In the semi final rounds Hester got the bye run to the final while Ferraro got the win over Dave O’Bryon.

In the Sportsman Class final round it was Steve Carlozzi taking on Gary Neis. Carlozzi got the win running a 7.41 ET on a 7.39 dial with a .518 RT while Neis leaving early (.472) turned on the red light. In the semi final rounds it was Neis getting the bye run to the final while Carlozzi got the win over Bobby Carpenter.

In the Trophy class final round it was Monty Montgomery taking on Brent Friedenburg. Montgomery got the win as Friedenburg leaving early (.433) turned on the red light. In the semi final rounds it was Montgomery getting the win over Matt Handt while Friedenburg got the win over Jack Dyson.

In the Jr. Dragster final round it was RJ Myers taking on Sammy Richard. Myers got the win as Sammy leaving early (.433) turned on the red light. In the semi final rounds it was Sammy getting the bye run to the final while Myers got the win over Bradley Snowball.

This weekend (January 19th and 20th ) Immokalee Regional Raceway will be hosting some Heads Up Door Slammer drag racing with over $18,000 dollars in purse money up for grabs.
