Chill out kids!

Jay, do you follow any of the sanctioning bodies out there that promote heads-up racing?
www.nsca-racing.com, www.headsupracing.com, NMRA, Pro Street? Are you an active member on any of these?
I love heads-up stuff and I like to razz my heads up racer friends about everything ya'll have stated in this thread, BUT it's all in fun. We both respect each others racing operations and have a good time at either type of racing. Bad mouthing either side is a poor representaion of each other. There is NO need for it.
Show up at the races, run your race, and post your results. We are all interested to see how you do.
In all due respect, heads-up and brackets take different kinds of skills and bickering isn't going to solve anything.
I love watching Scotty Richardson rip his opponent a new butt on the big end AND there's nothing like watching Frankie "madman" Taylor never lift as he puts his stuff on it's roof.
Smile

They take skills to do both. And Chad i've already told you to do your kind of racing cause anybody can talk about building something but actually doing it is a different story so any time you feel like proving me wrong you go ahead. Small tire small block stock suspension with nitrous and drive it to the track and we can see who has more skills.

stock suspension means its in the stock location and yes you can adjust it. we don't call the class factory suspension which is what you are refering to.

Why is it that bracket racers think that nitrous is cheating? Possibly because they don't understand what it is or how to use it. Since all you superior bracket racers think that it doesn't take skill to do what we do you should come out thanksgiving and take all the money from us it should be like taking candy from a baby. So i should see all of you there, since most of you complain about Hub not paying money heres your chance to make alot and it should be very easy.

Also my car has doors and windows that also roll up for when I'm driving it around. And real men get it done with 10&1/2 inches.

No don't have time to follow any organization mainly grudge race or run stock suspension or occasionally race on the street.

And if you still don't understand how stock suspension works you can come to the track thanksgiving and I'll teach a class.

I understand that it takes skill for both but what i haven't heard from this is why you heads up guys are always talking about us bracket racers coming to your events and racing you and taking your money. In truth you have not once said that you would bring your car to a bracket race and test your skill against us. Have you ever tried bracket racing? By the time you take off and then get to the finish line your brain has to process million's of scenario's on how to finish and win the race. With all due respect, i understand that your racing takes skill and there are things that are different from bracket racing but honestly speaking bring your car to a bracket race and test your skill out there and experience why we believe that brackets are exciting, fun, and challenging. By the way, we can win good money at bracket racing if someone puts on a good race and promotes it well. There are certain promoters out there that have done a great job to make sure that brackets stay up and going..You know who you are...To you i say thank you from myself and alot of others.I have been around bracket racing a long time and have learned from the best and many others and can honestly say that we don't think that we are superior to no one...We just get out there race, have fun, and enjoy each other's company...For the sake of ecah other's sport let's quit all bickering and enjoy and respect all forms of drag racing for what it is: RACING!!!! Maybe someday in a more perfect world some you heads up guys will experience brackets and vice versa. It doesn't take 10&1/2 inches to get it done. A real man gets it done by running whatever he brings, lines up and runs his race and win or lose he excepts it like a man. This is not a reply to piss anyone off just a reply to hopefully appeal to whoever cares for the sport to stop the BS and race. To you and all others have a Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy your weekend. I actually hope that you do well at the Hub this weekend. Myself and some other's most likely will be enjoying some bracket racing in Holly Springs, MS this weekend. Have agreat one
