Holiday Raceway
1/8 mile drag strip located in the "Heart of Dixie" Woodstock, AL - Holiday Raceway AKA "The Beach", has been open since 1968. Starting out with open class heads up drag racing, we now run three bracket classes paying up to 16 places in Pro-Bracket and Foot-Brake, and four places in Jr. Dragster. We are open every Saturday night during the racing season. During the week, we open on Thursday nights for Test and Tune. It’s hard to believe another season has come and gone. The entire staff at Holiday Raceway would like to thank everyone for their continued patronage. Your support and help at our facility has been immense and we want to express our sincere appreciation. All of the progress we make and the success we have is because of “you” the racers. It goes without saying we have some of the finest racers in the state who are always willing to lend a helping hand and never hesitate to volunteer their time or talents.
We would also like to thank the fans for their continued support of our racetrack. It makes racing a lot more fun when you have a strong fan base and I feel like the fans at Holiday Raceway are by far the most dedicated and supportive. Holiday Raceway will continue to strive to be one of the best racing facilities in Alabama. This being said, we do realize there is always room for improvement. We welcome your comments/suggestions and will give careful consideration to all. Our website and a link to the Message Board is www.holidayraceway.com. If you are interested in testing you car during the off season, Holiday Raceway is the place. The timing system will be setup for you and the Track will have a race day prep. For more information contact Jason Beams (205)-438-8007. Our 2007 Season will begin in March. Events are already being scheduled. Thanks and God Bless… This message has been edited. Wow what a night at Holiday Raceway! With over 150 cars present to celebrate the opening of the 2007 season. The win in Pro Bracket went to Scott Flowers from Gardendale, AL. With an outstanding turnout in footbrake Norman Peace from Ashville, AL took home the free admission into the World Footbrake Challenge along with $700.00 cash. Good job guys way to start off the season.
Special thanks to all the racers and fans for another great weekend at Holiday Raceway. |
